june to september 2016
In 1891, the Swiss government granted an application from the town council to change the resort’s name from "Aarmühle" to the more commonly used "Interlaken".
At that time, geographical maps, guidebooks, timetables and even advertising were already using the now world-famous name of Interlaken. To celebrate the 125th anniversary of this pioneering change, you can take advantage of a number of offers that are redeemable in Interlaken itself. You can enjoy a trip up the Harder - Interlaken's home mountain - a ride on the Bödelibahn road train and much more- so why look further afield when a great time can be had so close?

  • One or two overnight stays in a double room incl. breakfast
  • 1 round trip with the Bödelibahn (road train)
  • 1 admission to the Interlaken Touristic Museum
  • 1 return trip to the Harder Kulm
  • 1 official 125th Anniversary Interlaken festival badg
  • CHF 20.00 refreshment voucher for the marquee on the “des Alpes” areal

Price from CHF 125.00
