By postbus to Saxeten. From Saxeten village you walk in the direction of the valley basin. The route soon branches off right towards the Renggli Pass, reached after about a 2½ hr hike. To the right of the ridge the trail leads to the Morgenberghorn summit (approx. 1 hr. 15 min.), left to the Schwalmere summit. On the other side of the Renggli Pass, you see the Suldtal opening out before you. Following the signposts you now hike down over mountain pastures, past the mighty Pochten Falls to Aeschiried. Return by postbus to Spiez and then by train to Interlaken - Wilderswil. The trail leads mainly over lovely mountain meadows; the section over the Renggli Pass is the only one over rocks and stones.
