The easy walk to the  Grünenberg Pass is the ideal preparation for  longer hikes: from the post office past the open-air swimming pool - Kreuz - Blosmoos  and then a gentle climb up a wide mountain road past Trogenmoos to the Grünenberg Pass. Only another 200 metres and you can admire sweeping views over the Eriz Valley from a well-placed picnic area. Return to the village by the same route. Hiking time: 3 1/4 hrs.

Blosmoos - Grünenberg Pass, then fork left to Hintersten, Mittelsten and Vordersten Seefeld. Steep descent via Pfadli to Chromatte and back to the village via Almi.
