Hilarious, surprising, educational and apart of language skills: «How to become Swiss in 30 minutes» is fun for children (CHF 10.–), adults (CHF 20.–) and groups (special rates). In Stadthaus at the old town square Unterseen –check www.swissation.org.
Who does not want to be Swiss? Chocolate and democracy, mountains and lakes and referendums every few weeks!
But becoming a Swiss citizen is not easy: living in Switzerland for a long time, working and paying taxes, then paying a lot and learning a lot to pass the Swiss exam.
But it also works a lot easier: Swiss in 30 minutes!
Language skills are not necessary, they are taught: Come over and learn in a few minutes and many funny moments, what makes Swiss. Hopefully, you will not forget that, and if you want, you can always be swiss anytime, anywhere ...
Author and performer of the one-man-show is Hedi’s Peter, a true Swiss from Bernese Oberland, an artist, author and songwriter. He felt that there are enough Souvenir- and Chocolate-Shops around, enough River-Rafter, Jet-Boater and Hang-Glider-Bungee-Canyoning-Jumper – but not enough genuine alpine cultural stuff.
No other way – it had to be a Comedy Show. And this is also because the word “comedy” has its very old and very own meaning in the language of the Bernese Oberland people – you will understand this only after being born here or after visiting the show…
Before or after the show, which costs CHF 20.- for adults and half for children, you can still book a typical Swiss dinner. In the historic townhouse, restaurant since 1470, there are two menus for CHF 25 each: a vegetarian and a halal, a hearty one with bacon.
The townhouse in the picturesque centre of Interlaken-Unterseen (google maps) is also the venue. The shows start on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 18.00 pm and at 21.00 pm respectively.
Exact dates and tickets for the shows and food are available at www.swissation.org.
