Swiss Rafting Championships
A championship consists of 4 disciplines:

The Sprint
The events always start with the sprint, fast, physical, which runs a short distance. Each raft is dropped one by one and fights against the clock. The starting order is drawn by lot. This is an opportunity to earn 10% of all points.

The H2H ... a cruel duel!
This discipline is certainly the most spectacular because it includes a parallel duel between 2 teams that sprint and break on a medium distance to try to cross, before the opponent, the finish line. The loser is eliminated while the winner will participate in the next round and so on until the final.
The two teams start side by side, in principle on each side of the river. The best crew during sprint or H2H has the right to choose the side that suits him best. Each team chooses its own trajectory and can exceed. This event accounts for 20% of the total points.

The 6 km Downriver
It is the long distance race requiring a lot of endurance.
Whenever possible, the rafts, arranged on the beach according to the order of the points obtained hitherto, leave all together. When this is not possible, departures are given every 2 to 3 minutes.

The Slalom
This event requires a high-level technique and teamwork to get the raft through a dozen gates (up to 14) in the direction of the descent with respect to the green stakes or in the direction the ascent for the red stakes (8 doors maximum). Doors that are hit, missed or intentionally moved are subject to a penalty that is added to the time in seconds. Each team is entitled to 2 innings and the best of both counts for the final result, which is 30% of the total points.
