He is young, plays the guitar and has the blues: music is Lucky Wüthrich's vocation.
When he talks about music, his eyes light up. And when he plays the guitar and sings, then anyway. In melodies and rhythms, that's where Lucky Wüthrich is at home. And when he is on stage, he becomes a different person. He is not a complete beginner: he has already played in front of more than 10,000 people and writes his own songs. Yet Lucky only started playing guitar at the age of eleven. At the age of 12 he met the three guitarists of the Thun Trubadure. He was fascinated and took lessons with "Trubadur" Tom Lee. The music virus had infected Lucky. He spent hours in the rehearsal room of friendly bands, got inspired by all kinds of music and started to get serious about music. He attended the art and sports class in Thun with lessons by Stephan Urwyler and later followed three semesters at the Swiss Jazz
School in Bern with lessons from Robert Rüegg and Stewy Von Wattenwyl. He played his debut concert in 2009 at a birthday party. Since then he has played well over 500 concerts on the stages of this country. Among others, he has been on stage with Delbert McClinton, Philipp Fankhauser, Freda Goodlett, Noah Veraguth (Pegasus), Marc Sway, Schöre Müller (Span) or Nico Brina.
On August 1, he will perform with a saxophonist on the lakeside terrace at the Löwen. Enjoy the national holiday with a fine dinner and good music.
