Making music together in the open air.
The 3rd Swiss Fiddle Festival, organised in partnership with the Haus der Volksmusik (House of Folk Music) and the Schweizer Geigenbauschule Brienz (Swiss School of Violin Making in Brienz), will be an outdoor celebration of music. The first day of the course will end with a visit to the ‘Fiddles and master violins’ exhibition at the Schweizer Geigenbauschule Brienz, with music from Duo Campanula. In the evening, there will be a concert featuring the Helvetic Fiddlers and the Bregenzerwald string collective Messis Cellogruppe, followed by an open session. Let the various workshops and the fiddle music inspire you, and enjoy the musical entertainment. Any fiddle players and other musicians are very welcome to bring an instrument and play along. Come along and join in!

The Haus der Volksmusik is offering courses in local folk music at the Swiss Open-Air Museum. These free courses will take place in the East Midlands section of the Museum.
