The Santa Monicas

The power duo "The Santa Monicas" was launched in spring 2017 in Zurich and has since played concerts throughout Switzerland and Europe, recorded an EP and shot two video clips. Martin "The Rocket" Solo, who studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and has sung with legendary Zurich disco band Stinky Miller, handles acoustic guitars and bass - in the form of an Octave pedal over a bass amp - on The Santa Monicas. Ali "The Iron Clown" Salvioni, who earned his musical

With this instrumentation, "The Santa Monicas" create a unique sound aesthetic that oscillates between rockabilly, alternative, 80s pop and the Beatles.
