Become a knight at Spiez Castle
Children can celebrate birthdays at the castle, or embark on the Knight’s Trail. By completing a three-part series of tasks at the castles of Spiez, Thun and Oberhofen, kids progress from the level of page to knave – and after passing the tests and completing a special expedition, they graduate to full knights.
Built in the early Romanesque style, the thousand-year-old castle church adjacent to Spiez Castle is a highly popular venue for weddings. Civil ceremonies are also held in the castle’s romantic wedding hall.
