The Merligen Lido promises a peerless natural backdrop of dreamlike mountains. Soak up the sun on the lawn, or swim in the heated pool. On hot summer days, the best way to cool down is to jump into invigorating Lake Thun.

Relax and swim at the beautifully situated lake resort of Merligen, where a lush green lawn provides the perfect place to relax in the sun. The lido is located right by deep blue Lake Thun. Swim lengths of the 25 m heated pool and feel the benefit of the natural beauty that surrounds you. A heat pump maintains the daily temperature of the pool at a approx. 23 degrees. The sun-drenched location of the lido is guaranteed to create a Mediterranean holiday mood. The site includes an children’s pool, a bistro serving warm and cold dishes, a sandpit and a table tennis table. The main pool can accommodate around 200 guests. Admire a peerless mountain panorama with views of the Niesen and the peak of the Stockhorn, and enjoy relaxing times with family and friends.
 
The pool is situated next to the Merligen landing stage and close to the Merligen Beatus bus stations. Parking is available nearby if you are coming by car. The lido is open daily from mid-May to mid-September. The opening times are extended in the high season (July to mid-August). Visit the lido and enjoy a spectacular sunset from the welcoming bistro.
