Faltschen Panorama Trail

The village of Aeschi is the starting point of this tour, which first leads along the road to Aeschiried. It is well worth stopping for a moment here to take in the views of Aeschi and Lake Thun. Then enter the enchanting landscape of the Suldtal valley and follow the bubbling Suld brook for a while. The loveliest section of this tour starts after the ascent to Faltschen. The views from the panorama trail of the entire valley are simply stunning. You will soon reach the idyllic Kiental, which is a part of the Swiss Alps – Jungfrau – Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2001, this area was the first Alpine habitat to be included in the World Heritage inventory. And indeed, time seems to stand still here. After a short breather, a rapid descent follows a narrow road down to Reichenbach and from here back to your starting point.
