Follow this trail as it descends from First in the direction of the bottom station of the Oberjoch chairlift, along the natural «Chlofen» track and past the former Schiltlift bottom station until you arrive at a junction where the trail continues to Grosse Scheidegg. Turn right at the junction to continue to Schreckfeld. This short hike offers splendid views of the Wetterhorn and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users.

Getting there
In Grindelwald stehen zwei öffentliche Parkhäuser mit gedeckten Plätzen zur Auswahl: Parkhaus Eiger+ (252 Parkplätze) und Parkhaus Sportzentrum (160 Parkplätze). Ungedeckte Parkplätze sind im gesamten Dorf vorhanden.
Parking
Via Bern oder Luzern nach Interlaken. Oder von Süden via Grimselpass (nur im Sommer) oder via Simplonpass und Lötschberg-Autoverlad nach Interlaken. Dann den Schildern nach Grindelwald folgen.
Public transit
Via Bern oder Luzern nach Interlaken-Ost. Umsteigen auf die Berner Oberland-Bahn nach Grindelwald. Mit der Firstbahn ab Talstation im oberen Dorfzentrum in drei Abschnitten nach Grindelwald-First. Fahrdauer ab Grindelwald: rund 25 Minuten.
