The Gemsen Trophy is an exciting challenge for the athletically ambitious. NEW with fully automated timing. Register online, mount your start number and complete the 4.5km long course with +947hm.

Each participant will receive a "goodie bag" with various products. The start number can be picked up directly at the cash desk of the valley station in Wengen (during operating hours). Or you decide when registering that we send you the start number (+ CHF 10.00), so you can go directly to the starting line and complete the course at any time (also outside the operating hours of the cable car).

In the participation fee of CHF 15.00 the following services are included:

  • Downhill ride (Männlichen LWM top station - Wengen LWM bottom station)
  • Time measurement incl. digital ranking list
  • Luggage transport Wengen LWM valley station - Männlichen LWM mountain station (any liability excluded).
  • "Goodie Bag": NA Sports Water Reload 5dl, 1xNA Bar, 1x discount voucher from Nutriathletic, Fisherman's sweets.
  • Alcohol-free Rugenbräu beer at the Männlichen mountain restaurant
  • Good cause, "Nachwuchs-Fünfliber": CHF 5.00 will be donated for the benefit of the young runners of Swiss Athletics.

Remark:

1) Registration can be done online or on site (+ CHF 5.00). No further discount cumulation with other offers, half-tax/GA, passes, etc. No refund on already paid tickets. Timing only as long as weather conditions permit. Registration implies acceptance of the participant regulations.

2) Redeemable only during the operating hours of the Wengen-Männlichen cable car.

Directions

Wengen is a village in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, which belongs to the municipality of Lauterbrunnen. In terms of population, this village is the largest in the municipality. It is located at 1,274 meters above sea level at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains, 400 meters high above the Lauterbrunnen valley.
