best season

Panoramic hike in the Schilthorn region.

The hike starts in Mürren and first goes up to the Allmendhubel. The trail continues through the stony and steep Kanonenrohr to the Schilthornhütte. This section of the trail is also part of the famous INFERNO folk downhill run in winter and part of the running course in the INFERNO Triathlon in summer. After a short refreshment at the Schilthorn Hut, the trail continues through the Engetal valley towards Grauseeli. The descent down to Schiltalp is steep, with larger sections and rather demanding. Finally you follow the Northface-Trail to Suppenalp. Then it's only a few metres of altitude difference to Mürren.

The hiking tour can also be shortened at will (with the Schilthorn cable car Mürren - Birg).
