This varied circular hiking route starts and ends at the Tourist Info Bönigen and leads to Haslerenegg above Bönigen, where visitors can sign the summit register.

From the Tourist Info, walk up through the upper village and follow Riedgasse towards Riedli. The climb over the reed leads over a wooden bridge (Houetenbach stream) in the direction of Stockere before continuing up to the Bannwald area of protected forest. Coming back to the Houetenbach, this time you need to cross through the stream which is normally dry or very low. The route then continues through the forest before a narrow path leads up to the Haslerenegg. Having completed the steep climb to 854 metres above sea level, you can sign the summit register! The route now leads down to Sytiberg and on to Oberallmi on the way back to Bönigen.
