From the post bus terminus at the Iffigenalp mountain house, you always hike downstream towards Lenk and soon reach the Iffigbach. A wonderful hiking trail follows the wild stream. Here and there the water disappears behind rocks, only to reappear immediately and rush even closer to the path. Above the Iffigfall, you leave the riverbank and descend in a wide arc to the foot of the waterfall. Here the Iffigbach plunges about 100 meters down into the valley. Accordingly, the spray that spreads tirelessly at its foot is great. The hike then continues along the Iffigbach. Shortly after, you pass Pöschenried and subsequently two inviting resting places. At the end of the hike, shortly before Lenk, it is recommended to make a stop at the Lenkersee. The lake is always well visited by walkers and is a popular place to linger.
