The Lake Thun panoramic circular route from Sigriswil to Interlaken
The second stage of the panoramic circular trail leads along the banks of the lake from Sigriswil to Merligen. Enjoy a short break by the lake before the path starts to climb above the level of the lake again. From here to Interlaken, hikers on the Lake Thun panoramic circular route cross paths with pilgrims heading for Santiago de Compostela. At the foot of the Niederhorn, the route passes the St. Beatus caves. Apart from the lakeside path through the nature reserve, Unterseen and Interlaken make ideal places to take a breather.
