What could be finer than a cosy evening stroll through a snowy winter wonderland? Wander through the fresh snows in warm winter boots, enjoying the sight of the night sky and the brightly lit houses around Lake Thun. The path from the Meielisalp to the Leissigen panoramic bridge is evocatively lined with lanterns, creating a fairytale mood of winter romance. From the suspension bridge, the views of the lake and the surrounding mountains and villages are even better. The path is illuminated from 5.00 to 10.00 pm during December. Alongside the Laternenweg, guests at the Hotel Meielisalp can enjoy the "Meielisalp Winter Village". Homely chalets and a stylish fondue gondola create the perfect ambience in which to enjoy an evening of delicious Swiss specialities and warming drinks.

Directions
From the Meielisalp, walk in the direction of the Leissigen panoramic bridge. The distance to the suspension bridge is around 1.2 km, first on a road and then on forest paths, with no significant climbs. The walk there and back takes around an hour.
