This hike promises diverse enjoyment: views of the Eiger and other peaks of the Bernese Alps, pastures, the mountain lakes, and the sight of flowers. A short stretch of hard surface only at the end of the hike.

The hike is also called the Flower Trail and is accordingly marked. The flower trail extends in altitude from about 1600 to just under 2300 m above sea level. In the upper part, you will find spring flowers, while in the lower areas summer flowers bloom. At the signpost at the starting point of the hike, follow the intermediate destination Bachsee. The ascent proceeds gently along a forest road past a moorland. The view of the two mountain lakes is enchanting. It is therefore not surprising that the path from First to here is very popular. It is worth enjoying the impressive panorama. From here, the route is marked as a mountain hiking trail. The intermediate destination Bachläger and the goal of the route are marked on the signpost. A path leads past Sattelegg downhill to Bachläger. Further down, you reach the mountain inn Waldspitz by an alpine path. It goes steeply downhill through a forest. After crossing the Milibach, you reach the intermediate station Bort of the Firstbahn gondola.
