You can reach Sparemoos from Zweisimmen by bus or car. Cross-country skiers, winter hikers and snowshoers will find a wonderful winter landscape here. The signposted Sparemoos snowshoe trail impresses with great panoramic views, low altitude differences and plenty of powder snow.

The circular route starts directly at the cross-country center (parking lot/buvette) and first leads up to the army transmission mast. Here, the view opens up to the Simmental and the Lower Simmental Prealps. The trail then steadily gently descends down to Site Alp. Site Alp is now also open for a stopover in winter! After passing the huts, the route turns and now leads back over the flat ridge up to the Tolmoos area. Passing the snow-covered Tolmoos hut, you reach the highest point of the trail. Here, you come across the winter hiking trail and the cross-country track, which lead back from Schiltenegg to Sparemoos. Through the enchanting forest clearing Galuni, it then goes back to the Sparemoos cross-country center.

The trail can also be walked in the opposite direction!
