The panoramic lakeside path leading from Spiez to Faulensee is an absorbing experience. Whether you are planning a Sunday stroll with a loved one, cosy togetherness on a first date or fun-filled afternoon activities with the kids, the trail has it all.

Near the start of the path in Spiez, the little ones can let off steam in a superb playground; another high point for kids is the «Pirates’ Bay» playground at the end of the trail in Faulensee. For a more laid-back experience, a series of sculptures and more than 50 benches offer rest and relaxation. Every bench is unique, featuring a brass plaque engraved with words of wisdom – ideally for taking a breather, having a chat or enjoying a picnic. Wonderful vistas of the lake and the mountain landscape are guaranteed. Around midway along the path is the 100 years old Schattenbad bathing area, which is freely accessible. Why not take the plunge into the cool waters? Another possibility is to hone your senses on the barefoot adventure trail.
