best season

The easy Sulwald trail which leads as a circular trail over the Mederalp and the somewhat more demanding Lobhorn trail which leads to the Lobhorn hut gives you a choice of two wonderful snowshoe routes to enjoy. The starting and end point for both trails is the top station of the cable car in Sulwald. Both trails are signposted throughout as blue and red routes. The Sulwald trail can be walked without danger if there is sufficient snow and offers a great panoramic view of the Jungfrau Region along its entire length. The Lobhorn trail should only be attempted in good snow conditions or with sufficient experience. Please note: in winter, the Lobhorn hut is only staffed on weekends!
