Ristorante Waisenhaus, Thun

My kids reserved a table for 4 on Fathers Day. Now I have had Brunches pretty much all over the world but this was a major league let down. No Buffet style Brunch but only a basic selection of buns and Croissons and each of us got a plate with Butter, Jam, a few slices of cold cuts, one piece of cheese, a small cup of Granola with Joghurt and Juice. That was it ! Everything else was priced extra; Coffee, Tea, eggs, bacon etc. with a cup of regular coffee at 6 CHF, a cup of cappuccino at 6.50 CHF and all teas at 6 CHF. In our opinion this Brunch was overpriced for what it was and not really worthy of a Brunch. Totally disapointed !

Nice venue at the river. Kitchen was poor, cooking unsatisfacrory, gravy simple! So sorry. Great place but only the mineral water recommendable

Very unfriendly service. Five of us were with our parents (86 years old) and wanted to have lunch by the river. We decided to go somewhere else where we felt welcomed as guests. The guests after us also decided to go elsewhere.
