    Pizza, sandwiches, bakery items
The staff here are super nice! The ambience is sweet and seating comfortable. Food is hit and miss, but this is one of the better places - one of the very few places - in Beatenberg to eat. Some bakery items are quite good. (Love the wieners in pastry, when they have them.) Others look ok but don’t taste that great. Sandwiches are quite good. Pizza crusts are thin, crispy. Avoid the chocolates. They aren’t made there and are not high quality. Get chocolates from Läderach in Interlaken instead.

    Breakfast
We always enjoy eating breakfast at Bel-Air. Often, we walk down for a croissant. My favorite is the chocolate filled croissant!😉 The owner is always friendly and helpful!❤

    Lovely bread and croissants
We fetched our bread from here every morning for our breakfast. We also had a breakfast on one of the morning, what a delightful business spotlessly clean with a excellent range of bread and cakes, wish we had something like this in the uk. The bread rolls and croissants were superb

    80 different sundaes
It's quite an old tearoom and bakery, but faultlessly clean, and cosy inside. Prices are lower than in other Beatenberg's, or even Interlaken's places. By having a look at the ice cream menu, I was amazed about the wide range of sundaes: 80 different ones, at a price of CHF 9 only (in Interlaken CHF 10 to 13). I chose Coppa Italia (vanilla, tiramisu, pistachio). Fresh and yummy. Further you'll get fine bread, pastry and even pizzas. I was attended very cordially. If you aren't looking for the flavour of the month, but for a cosy and unexpensive place, you are right in here.

    Amazing cakes!
Great little tea room in the middle of Beatenberg. The cakes and bread are lovely and fresh, and they make amazing ice cream sundaes too. A lovely place to stop and have a break and admire the view.

    Great little Cafe
Found this Café by chance when walking between Habkern and Beatenburg station. It was the only one open as a lot of the local businesses close Mondays and reduced times. There is a great choice of cakes (good portions of homemade cakes with fresh fruit) and cooked savoury pastries. There is a fair choice of snack meals all at reasonable prices for Switzerland. Excellent coffee an pleasant staff who were very helpful and spoke English and German. It is also on the "trotibike" run.
