Shooting star nights on the Stierenberg near Seebergsee
Experience and observe shooting star nights at 1880 m above sea level without the influence of external light.
From July 17 to August 24, the Perseids (maximum number of shooting stars) can once again be seen in the night sky. If the weather is good, you are likely to see the most shooting stars on the night of August 13, 2025.
We recommend a shooting star night with overnight stay in a dormitory and breakfast. Please don't forget warm clothing, summer nights can get quite chilly in the mountains.
