Take advantage of free public transport to Interlaken and back home when you book a package deal from 1 December 2025 until 5 April 2026. The offer, which applies to stays of one night or more at a participating hotel, is valid for 2nd class travel only from anywhere in Switzerland. For those arriving from abroad, the ticket is valid to and from the Swiss border or the airport.
Order your ticket online using the form below no later than four days before you wish to travel. Please complete one form for each person travelling. For short-term bookings, please call the reservations department of Interlaken Tourism on +41 33 826 53 01 before completing the form.
As soon as you have completed all of the mandatory fields and submitted the form, you will receive an automatic confirmation. If you have any questions, please call the reservations department during opening hours on +41 33 826 53 01 or send an email to reservation@interlakentourism.ch.
After you book and receive your confirmation, the reservations department will send your documents via e-mail. You can store your ticket conveniently on your smartphone or print it out at home.

The free return travel offer applies exclusively to public transport in Switzerland. For those arriving from abroad, we will be pleased to issue a free ticket from the relevant border point and back.
If you are arriving in Switzerland by plane, the offer is valid from your airport of arrival and back.
The offer is only available for 2nd class travel.
Yes, children aged six years and above can travel by public transport free of charge. Children with a Junior Travelcard or Children’s Co-Travelcard also travel free.
Children aged between 6 and 16 who are not in possession of these travelcards also benefit from free return travel when you book for two nights or more.
Holders of a GA Travelcard cannot avail of the free return travel offer.
Call Interlaken Tourism on +41 33 826 53 01 no later than 72 hours before you travel. You can check our opening hours here. If you change your booking, a processing fee of CHF 20.00 per ticket will be charged in order to amend your train journey and issue you with a new ticket. If you inform us too late about your change of plans, or omit to do so, we will be unable to change the booking and you will need to buy a new ticket by yourself.

You will not be charged if you cancel up to 72 hours before travelling. If you do not cancel at least 72 hours in advance, you will be liable to pay the full cost of the trip. The cancellation policy of your chosen hotel will apply to your accommodation costs.
No, although you may still travel to Interlaken for free. If you wish to travel onward from Interlaken, you will need to buy a separate ticket. If you wish to travel to Interlaken from a destination other than your place of residence but return home after your stay in Interlaken, we will be happy to meet the cost of your return journey.
No, you will need to purchase the appropriate ticket for your dog by yourself.

If you have not received your tickets three days before your journey, please do not hesitate to call our reservations department on +41 33 826 53 01. You can check our opening hours here. Please bear in mind that our confirmation e-mail containing the tickets may have been directed to your junk mail/spam folder.
For internal purposes, we only need to know your place of residence. Personal details will be deleted without delay. We will not send you a newsletter either unless you specifically request this.
