Great experience. Buy tickets ahead of time!
Had a great time here. Went on the fly line which was fun, nothing too crazy but for those who want a more mild paragliding experience it’s a good option. There are lockers available to store your things as well. Great views from the top and places to explore around a bit. Buy tickets in advance, as the line was long to buy, but I already had them so I walked right in!

Good if others didn't go slow to use their phones
Great toboggan ride with gorgeous scenery, sadly experience is spoilt by selfish tourists who go very slowly on the ride filming and even facetiming relatives despite lots of signs saying you mustn't use your phone / film whilst on it, pile up with young children almost caused by this. Such a shame as not cheap to get the cable car up and no regulation by staff.

    Good alps experience
Overall, it’s good experience. Here’s what bugged: gondola not included in Jungfrau Pass; and the lines for toboggan riding were stupid slow. We were glad we did it but would skip in a future trip.

Me and my party was so excited we waited months to go on the toboggan and skyline and after my experience today I’m very disappointed and upset. The weather was bad so when we arrived the toboggan was closed but we was told by reception at the main entrance that if we waited and the weather improved before 6pm then it would be reopened. We decided to go on the skyline first because that was still open and the workers there I believe it was Alex and Monica were very friendly and nice and they told us that in 20 minutes the toboggan would be reopened. By this time it was 16:30 so we had hope they would open up the tobaggan as it stopped raining. When we finished the skyline we went straight to the tobaggan at 16:45 but there was no one there and after waiting for about 15 minutes we decided to get a drink and try again at 17:00. Some of my party waited by the food while some of us went to go and check on the toboggan to see if it was opened up and by this time it was 17:15 when someone from my party had come back to tell the rest of us that they had spoken to selina who I believe is supposed to be one of the managers and said she would not be opening it and it’s closed for the rest of the day. We decided to all head back to speak to her by the tobaggan and by this time it was 17:20 and again no one was there so we waited and when we did see her again it was 17:30 she was very dismissive and told us she wouldn’t be opening it up again and when I asked about a refund she just said there’s nothing she could do and said she needed at least half an hour to set it up even though she turned us away initially at 17:10 despite the weather improving and us waiting. I understand that there’s nothing you can do about the weather but her tone was very dismissive and unsympathetic which is why I am upset. After that I decided to go to the reception at the main entrance to see if I could be issued a refund and I was speaking to a man there about a refund and he was just saying I should of spoken to Selina about it and I explained that I tried to but she was unwilling to discuss. He then asked to see my tickets I purchased and then opened the till to give me the money I had bought for the toboggan for my party back and just as I was about to say thank you he interrupted and said “ are you happy you got your money now” in a very patronising tone then he pointed and said “ well go, the door is that way.” To be treated in such a poor manner by not one but two employees really made the experience unpleasant because being professional and trying to be understanding was all I was expecting however this was not the case. The skyline was great and the workers on the skyline were lovely it’s such a shame the weather ruined the toboggan but after how the staff treated me and my party I would definitely not recommend and would not go back.

    Nice experience
The Toboggan is great. The down side is the last section, where you get pulled back to the starting point. This is very inconvenient.

    This attraction is very dangerous
I’m giving 3 stars solely due to the staff’s quick response after I was violently hit from behind by someone on their phone at full speed on the toboggan run. The impact knocked me off my sled, and even my daughter one sled ahead of me felt it. A staff member responded immediately and assured me they had video of the incident if I needed it, which I appreciated very much. That said, I’m writing this as a warning: this attraction is dangerous. Your safety depends on the person behind you, and most people were on their phones. I can't imagine what would have happened if my child was hit at this speed. The brief thrill isn’t worth the risk—I do not recommend it.

An Absolute Blast – We Became Addicted to Mountain Coasters Here!
Pfingstegg was one of the most unexpectedly thrilling experiences of our entire trip! We came for the beautiful Swiss scenery but quickly found ourselves completely hooked on the mountain coaster. It’s the perfect mix of breathtaking views and pure adrenaline. Riding through the lush alpine landscape with snow-capped peaks in the background made this an unforgettable experience. The coaster is easy to control, so you can go as fast or slow as you like, but trust us—going full speed is where the real fun is! Our entire family took multiple rides, and each one felt more exciting than the last. Even with a little bit of mist in the air, the ride was smooth, and the surroundings felt like something out of a fairytale. The staff was friendly, and the process of getting on and off the ride was seamless. If you’re anywhere near Grindelwald, this is an absolute must-do! Just be warned—once you start, you won’t want to stop! We’ll be dreaming of mountain coasters until we get the chance to come back.

    Great little adventure
Come early or late to avoid the crowds - we got the cable car up at 15:30 and it wasn't crowded and there were no waits for either the mountain coaster or the fly line. Great way to spend an hour or so. The little cafe has great views and we had a quick drink. Parking is cheap too - use the easypark app.

    Touristy but fun
The ride up and back costs is half price if you have a Swiss Travel Pass. The area at the top is very scenic, and there are hiking trails, a “Toboggan” run, zip lines, and a nice cafe. The toboggan run is fun, but to get some speed, you may have to let the slow pokes in front of you gain a bit of distance. The cafe is good with fairly reasonable prices. Definitely worth it despite some corny tourist vibes.

    Very nice!
An amazing family summer experience. It’s full of extremely fun activities for all ages. If you’re looking for more adventurous activities that are fun for both adults, teens and young children, this is a very good option. Also, the lines are much shorter than at Grindelwald First, so that’s great. The views are beautiful as well!!!

    Beautiful, not a must-see
My husband was dying to do a mountain coaster based on YouTube videos he had seen, so we decided to do the toboggan. It's fun, pretty short, but you're pretty limited in speed especially if you are stuck behind someone who is going extremely slow. He did the fly line and said it was entertaining, but the toboggan was better.

    Great views, fun activities
Good: - Beautiful scenic views. - Cable car ride to enjoy the views and unwind. - Short wait times when we went. - Free lockers to store items close to rides. - Thrilling activities. Bad: - No refund policy means you may lose money if the rides are shutdown due to bad weather. It started raining slightly so this put us on edge for the toboggan ride, but it stayed up.

    Such a shame
To start with, and to be clear - this is an amazing place. The views are out of this world, and both rides (the toboggan and the canope zip line) are good fun. The problem was the completely shambolic management of the place. I don't know if they were severely short-staffed on the day we visited, because it's the verty start of the season, or simply had an off day, but everything there didn't work quite as it should. The toboggan ticketing system didn't work, which took staff's attention away from explaining to people how to use the slide. As a result, people didn't know how to control the speed, which resulted in several accidents, which in turn were handled poorly by staff. On the zip line the situation was slightly better, but there too they were clearly short-staffed and that created a lot of frustration amongst staff, which wasn't fun to see. The restaurant had a very limited menu and the cheapest thing on it cost about 25CHF. The cable-car (as delightful as it was) had seen better days, and even after the discount it was pricey, even in Swiss standards. Then the rides are priced on top. In summary, this is a great attraction but poorly managed and I hope someone at management sees this review and fixes things because it's a real shame.

    Trip highlight
We went on the cable car up, the tobaggon and the zipline which were all great fun. As we had the swiss travel passes we got this at a discount rate. At the top you get the most beautiful views of grindelwald. Tip- you can get a bus ride from grindelwald to pffinstegg which took about 15 mins. We also then walked down to the glacier which took about half hour then caught the bus back to grindelwald.

    Thrilling
Definitely a must do! Ideal for families as you can share a cart (2 people) you can go as fast or slow as you like. The cable cart up was pricey even with a Swiss travel pass (34 CHF each!!) but for the views, totally worth it! There is no discount on the activity with the travel pass but I thought it was reasonably priced (6 CHF each for 1 go) We really enjoyed this activity and it’s a must do for anyone travelling around Grindelwald. It was really close to the first cliff walk as well which also offers some other adrenaline activities, worth a look. So much fun! Would do it again.

Fabulous dinner in private cable car!
Fabulous dinner in the cable car suspended over alpine beauty. The team stays after hours to prepare a delicious local Swiss sourced meal on hot stones and sends the cable car slowly up the mountain to enjoy the view, in private for up to a party of 8. Food, view and the friendly service were nothing short of amazing.
