"Gantrisch-Fribourg route": Amsoldingen - Rüeggisberg

Today's stage will lead us over a distance of 20.2 km with a walking time of about 6.0 hours from Amsoldingen to Rüeggisberg. We face a difficult day stage. We start the hike at the church in Amsoldingen and leave the village towards Uebeschi. We follow the signposted paths and arrive in Blumenstein after about 6.0 km. The route today takes us over asphalt and natural paths. We continue to walk through the Längmoos to Wattenwil. Here the path begins to climb and we reach Burgistein after about 12.5 km. The route continues through Riggisberg and after another ascent we arrive in Rüeggisberg. At 928 m altitude, it is also the highest point of the day's stage.
