The easily accessible Schattsite Trail starts at the Mühli Bridge, near the Boden/Kreuzgasse bus stop. The trail allows for two different loops and is ideal for an outing after a day of winter sports. In the first part, the trail ascends the base of the slope towards Hohliebi: first gently rising through the scattered settlement area and then increasingly steeply up to the snow-covered road at Hohliebi. After the steepest section is climbed, the enjoyable part begins, which leads along one of the alp roads towards the Wenig area. Here, near the center of Adelboden, you unexpectedly encounter a wonderful, pristine winter landscape. Individual hay sheds invite you to linger before you almost reluctantly take the return route via Hohliebi.

By train to Frutigen. Then by bus to Adelboden. From there continue by bus 232 or 235 to the Kreuzgasse stop. 5 minutes on foot to the start of the trail.
