- Start: Sunnbüel
- Destination: Sunnbüel
From the Sunnbüel mountain station, the trail runs southwards along the foot of the Üschinen ridge. In good weather, there is a wonderful view of the adjacent 3000-meter peaks Altels and Rinderhorn. In the Spittelmatte area, a short descent leads to an alpine hut inviting you to linger. The return route across the high plateau passes the cross-country ski trail and the winter hiking trail, which via Schwarrenbach leads to the Gemmipass. Past the ski lift, you return to the starting point at the Sunnbüel cable car.
