Snowshoe circular hike with wonderful panoramic views of the Gastertal and the village of Kandersteg. From the Sunnbüel mountain station, follow the marked snowshoe trail down to the viewpoint "Stock" (1832 m a.s.l.), from there through the Wintertäli back to the starting point.

The cable car takes you from Kandersteg to the Sunnbüel mountain station. On the way up, you already float above the Stock and the snowshoe trail of the same name. Once at the top, you start along the ridge to the north, always downhill towards the Stock viewpoint. Below the unattended but open Winteregg hut, you continue hiking. At Stock, at 1832 m a.s.l., you can enjoy a magnificent panorama with views into the Gasterntal and the village of Kandersteg. The Stock hut is not staffed in winter but can be rented as an overnight accommodation. The return route leads via the Winteregg through the beautifully snow-covered Wintertäli back to the Sunnbüel starting point. At the Sunnbüel mountain restaurant, a stop on the sun terrace is worthwhile.
