This hiking day is rather short, so there is enough time to enjoy the historic Hotel Rosenlaui. In the salons you will find books, games and space for conversations – but no TV, radio or internet connection, and mobile reception is limited. In the Belle Époque house you enjoy the afternoon tea all the more, amidst beautiful furniture. And alongside that the mountain world and the sound of the water, the view of Wellhorn, Dossenhorn and the Engelhorn peaks. Perhaps you even hear the gurgling of the glacier pots in the glacier gorge. The 45-minute circular route should definitely be included in the program. There it foams, bubbles and gurgles enormously. Waterfalls, caves, rock polishings and the unbridled energy of the glacier water make the walk along the secured path an experience. Through tunnels and over steps, you climb 115 meters up the gorge, then descend powerfully recharged through the forest, only to calmly dedicate yourself again to afternoon tea.
