Hotel Kreuz, Leissigen

Super friendly staff. Great view of the Thunersee and the opposite mountains from the balcony terrace. Grills were excellent, entrecôte and fillet.

We enjoyed a wonderful four course fish meal. great local fish and tastey desert platter. Beautiful view over Lake of Thun And excellent service.

10 mins drive from Interlaken, this restaurant has a nice view of the lake and mountain, very agréable. Staffs are nice and food is good. We arrive on a weekday and they have the weekday’a lunch menu which is a very good deal.

This was the best part of our visit to Switzerland really. The hotel was a modest building in a scenic location overlooking the lake and mountains. The view from the room was spectacular especially with a balcony to enjoy it. The room had all basic amenities including a small TV. A large screen was available in their bar. The staff were extremely friendly and we could see many regulars visiting their restaurant for their food and chit chat. They even obliged with providing a green smoothie when requested along with breakfast. The best part was the train station 2 minutes walk away and a well stocked grocery shop on the way. A couple of restaurants nearby as well, with one overlooking the lake to just have a snack and enjoy the view. Overall, not a luxury experience as this is in a village but a wonderful Swiss experience! Would highly recommend it especially for families.

We stayed at Hotel Kreuz and this is perhaps the biggest restaurant of the town. Meals and service is good.

Food was excellent. We had sirloin steaks with vegetables. A nice salad. And a wonderfull dessert with many miniatures. Service was good.

There was a good selection of dishes on the menu and the food was delicious. The restaurant staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great.
