Pizzeria Grill Bar La Boheme, Bönigen

We were staying at the hotel and there were limited choices in the area as we didn’t have a car. We had made a reservation for five of us for after our boat ride in front of the restaurant. We ordered salads and pizza to share plus drinks. Everything was so delicious…especially the spicy salami pizza which I still think about. We also had great service and fun banter with a young waiter from Portugal. A family next to us unprompted shared what they loved about their meal. It was such a great atmosphere and food.

As a family of 7 we visited here after finding it on google maps - reception was faultless and we ordered our food 3 lasagne and 4 pizza - the pizza came out with two of the lasagne and I was told mine would be ten minutes , I sat with patience watchung my family eat their food - probably fifteen minutes later my lasagne came out bubbling away in its dish - but sadly only around the edges - when I cut closer to the centre it was still frozen - front staff were lovely but to serve frozen uncooked food sadly is beyond reproach -

Due to me being late in making a reservation elsewhere, I found myself making my way here. I’m pretty easy going when it comes to restaurants, my tolerance for bad service is actually quite high… And though I wondered if I was going to be treated differently seeing that I am a solo person, and female, and of non local, and non white… I was forgotten after my order was taken. By curiosity, I observed how long it would take other couples who were served at the same time and if they would notice I was done or if I needed water… 40 mins went by, with having asked for water, for me to be acknowledged. I was met with a sigh by the server. The couples had by then left. I got my onion soup, and waited approx. 40 mins after I was done, before getting my risotto. I have no actual fact that any of things mentioned above are relevant to me being forgotten… perhaps it was lack of experience? Another server approached me towards the end of my meal, and when he found out we spoke the same language, suddenly I became interesting... surely having realized a little late that I was not properly served. It’s ashame, I would have gladly forgiven all if only acknowledged that it could have been better. Better luck next time boys . This is my first review ever but being that my experience will make me hesitate to return at my next visit, I felt it needed to be said so there can be a better awareness or training. Wishing the place best of luck and better training. One never knows if a professional food critic is sitting by your midsts or just a first time reviewer ;) That being all said, the onion soup was a 5/10 but the risotto an 8/10. It was creamy and the rice was a tad undercooked which I like. The Risotto however I had in Burgseeli was fabulous, and wish I had returned tonight, but their restaurant was full :) Which is not surprising, their staff was very efficient and friendly. I look forward to writing my second review for them :) Once I finished, my server was nowhere to be found, letting his colleagues receive my request for the bill. Even that was a little chaotic. I left him double the tip because I have been a server many years ago, and would try to learn from every dissatisfied customer. Hopefully he remember the girl he forgot who tipped him double. On my way out, I let his coworkers know that I was forgotten but that I wished them a good night. Don’t be in the food industry if you can atleast pretend to enjoy serving and being in the customer service business. Interlaken had wonderful people. I leave with the memories given to me by them :)

Excellent friendly service, delicious pizza and Italian fare, and best of all memorable al fresco dining with a spectacular, serene view of the lake complete with ducks, swan, and passers-by with well-behaved dogs!

Disappointment... We were here last year and loved it a lot (gave 5 stars last year) and we were looking forward to have an lovely pizza once again. Service & Staff nice and friendly, quick. We ordered bruscheta (was not worth the money...), salat (was OK) and pizza. The dought without salt, the whole pizza bathing in fat but lacking on taste. What a pity. I am not sure we will give it a go next time.

We were there just now with 2 kids and the waitress was very rude to my baby who was just playing with the laminated menu, she came saying DONT DO THAT!! Then we asked for kids menu and she said there is no kids menu, clearly very racist and anti-kids place! Do not go there with kids or if you are black. We just walked off from this disgusting place.

The popularity of this pizzeria speaks for itself. Superb salads, pasta and pizza to eat on the terrace or inside in a real Swiss atmosphere. Excellent and attentive service, led by the Proprietor's daughter.

We went here twice and both times we liked it. Pizza and risoto are great. Service is immediate, you do not need to wait to order or for food. Packed with local people.

Amazing food and great service, Hina and the guys are fantastic. Restaurant was packed with locals which is always a good sign, very accommodating when we arrived a bit late in the evening and happily fed us. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The pizza has all the toppings in the middle and mainly crust around the sides (it would have been much better to spread out the toppings to make the base taste great) The staff was very helpful, the waitress allowed me to use her bike to cycle to the nearest bank machine due to the fact they did not take le poste card.

We called in here one wet lunchtime. Staff excellent - so friendly and helpful. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Would love to stay at this beautiful hotel on the lake side - next time perhaps.

Good service, good atmosphere. We had seen the place the other day as we were passing through, and it was completely packed with people. We were there near the end of the night at 8 pm, and there were only a few people around. Maybe we had missed the crowd? Either way, the food was excellent!

We were very disappointed with the food in this restaurant. just not up to par - not even the salads. Unfortunate because its the only other place to eat while staying at the hotel! The main restaurant is closed two nights and we had to eat here or drive somewhere else.

Great pizzeria on the lake with absolutely fantastic views. They serve super tasty food quickly. And to top it all off the have really speedy & friendly service!

We ate here one night. The place was busy with excellent selection of pizzas, pastas and local beer. We tried carbonara and linguine with local beer. Excellent taste We did not have to wait to eat these freshly cooked pasta dishes. Excellent service and value for money.

It was a bank holiday evening and the staff were overwhelmed. We waited over an hour for a Pizza, (we were told there would be a wait). the Restaurant was quite large and had inside and outside tables that were all full. the problem was there was one chef and an oven that could only cook 4 pizza's at a time! The food was good and there is little more choice in town so be patient and don't go on a bank holiday!

We had pizza ... thin crust ... very tasty! Staff were fantastic. Excellent command of the English language! Nice wine and beer section.
