Such good food. Very friendly service. The chef is amazing. Highly recommend the coq au vin ☺️ my father had the veal cutlet. Absolutely delicious.

The food is delicious, the service is very very good, the price is reasonable! Especially, when I replied that the beer is a bit sweet, I like it bitter, the restaurant brought another bottle that is more delicious (only charged for this bottle), and offered a free glass of typical Swiss whisky! Great! Thanks for everything!

The restaurant is located by the lake, where customers can enjoy the beautiful scenery while dining. The food was delicious, and the service provided by Jennifer was very warm and friendly, making the guests feel very happy. It was an enjoyable lunch experience, and I would definitely come back again to experience it again.

Best meal in Interlaken! We had the best service, delicious flavorful food and ambiance. Would come back here for every meal. We had the butter fried fish, eggplant, veggie burger and more. Everything was so delicious!

Had lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Brienzersee. Meal was superb ( fish ). Location was superb and the service was even better. Jennifer was a real gem. Thank you so much

One of the best terrace lake views in Interlaken/Bonigen with range and quality of food to match. Very efficient, attentive and friendly service.

Having seen the menu displayed outside we booked directly with the hotel staff at lunchtime to dine that evening. Having arrived and started to read the menus at the table, the set daily menu was snatched from our hands. The first sign that something was possibly amiss. We then attempted to place our orders, only to be told at the point of ordering that both main choices were not available. In essence that left only fish, veal or Irish beef (the latter very nice but not what you travel from the UK to Switzerland to eat). In essence a very poor performance, misdirection of information and a mockery of reasons to choose any restaurant let alone this. At any point from booking, to arrival, to distribution of the menu the staff could have made it clear significant problems existed in the kitchen. It transpired our holiday apartment was better provisioned than this restaurant. The last reports from 2021 suggests a major problem has arisen here.

We had lunch on Sunday on the terrace at Restaurant La Gare in Bönigen, and it was the find of our weekend in Interlaken! We'd seen the hotel and terrace last November, when we stayed in the area and walked along the lake from Interlaken one day, and we had such a lovely experience at lunch, we've booked to stay at the hotel itself for 2 nights next month! There was a small mix up over our table booking, but it could not have been handled better, especially considering the restaurant was packed. We sat on a sofa with a gorgeous view of the lake, drinks in hand, as we awaited a table (not long at all) and oh my goodness, the FOOD! It was so lovely - not just delicious to eat but so beautifully presented. The view of the lake is also so very pretty and relaxing. Topping all this off was the service, particularly that from the lovely lady looking after us (from other reviews, I think this was Jennifer)! She made the whole visit exceptional, and even - when we asked if she would take our photo - took us over to the lakeside to get a better shot. Service above and beyond! Can't wait to be back in July and reviewing the hotel itself! Best wishes from Sandra and Julian, two VERY happy customers!!

Gorgeous views and great food on the terrace on Friday 4 June. But the best was the service: professional but relaxed and with a healthy "down-under" sense of humour. Thanks Jennifer!

As a group of two couples and two toddlers, we were generously welcomed. We enjoyed a wonderful meal but even more importantly the most hospitable service. Jennifer our host was very welcoming and kind, especially with the children. Jennifer even gave the children some bread to feed the ducks with. We all ordered the perch which was delicious, and the apple tart looked so good we had to take some away with us. Thank you for the most delightful lunch! We enjoyed so much and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We have just had a most fantastic Sunday lunch here, served by ex-Aussie Jennifer and Portuguese Fabio. The view over the lake, watching the boats come in, is tremendous to start with, but the food is even better. Well cooked and very well presented. However the composition and size of the deserts beat everything. Thank you.

We found this hotel's restaurant by accident and had such an amazing meal with such brilliant service by Jennifer, we appeared the next day for coffee and cake. Again Jennifer was a fantastic host and the coffee and cake was great too. We arrived yet again the following evening for a meal and still Jennifer was a fantastic host and the food amazing. If you are in the area do not miss this jewel. Although the food was fantastic, Jennifer just made the visits fun and made you want to return for more. Thank you Jennifer!
