Ceremonies for returning guests in Interlaken, Matten and Unterseen

The communes of Interlaken, Matten, Unterseen, Wilderswil, Gsteigwiler and Saxeten honour long-standing returning guests with the Golden Key. As a thank you, regular guests and the chairs of significant conferences receive a golden key.

Golden Key for returning guests

Returning guests are important for the Holiday Region Interlaken and are honoured by the communes, the tourism association and accommodation providers. The communes award the Golden Key to guests who have holidayed in Interlaken, Matten, Unterseen, Wilderswil, Gsteigwiler or Saxeten for at least 10 days over the last 10 years. The honours are initiated by accommodation providers, who submit a nomination form to the relevant municipal office. The Golden Key is usually presented by the mayor and the director of the Tourismus-Organisation Interlaken.
