    Strawberries & chocolate🤤
Adorable, fun shop. Went for dessert. My friend got the Marlenka cake and I got the cheesecake which was strawberry that day. I'm going to be honest, I didn't LOVE either came. The Marlenka was fun and different to try but even with chocolate poured over the top tasted dry to me. The cheesecake left me wanting something else too. But the strawberries on the plates that I dipped in the warm chocolate was so good! Planning on going back for the cup of strawberries and chocolate. Definitely a must try. Friendly service too. Take cards and speak good English.

    Don’t Miss!
We visited after dinner and had the strawberries with melted chocolate. It was so delicious. The strawberries were sweet and tasted organic. We enjoyed it so much that we visited again the very next night. We also bought an assortment of chocolate bars that we have enjoyed at home.

    Fun and informative!
Zuza was a great host, explaining how chocolate is made, from farming the beans to the different types we can eat. Making and designing our own chocolate was really fun and we appreciated being in a small group. The only thing that could be improved would be to have reusable aprons (like the hats!) rather than single-use-plastic ones.

    Let’s get chocolate wasted!
We took a class with Moa and it was great! All you can eat chocolate, help when you need it, and three chocolate bars to take home. She taught us a lot about chocolate, encouraged class participation and creativity. Where else can you make a 1/2 milk chocolate 1/2 dark chocolate bar? They source their chocolate ethically also, they even won a Swiss ethics award! Go - take the class - enjoy the English speaking and chocolate love. I’ve taken classes at cailler too and funky chocolate club is better!

A great way to warm up with a sweet treat
A great way to warm up with a sweet treat is sitting with friends and family in the Funky Chocolate Club in Interlaken, sharing Chocolate fondues with strawberries and a glass of a gut warming spirit and coffee. It's quite expensive, but, you are in Interlaken, so you know it will be. The staff were friendly and they did that thing where each customer in the queue at the counter speaks either German, French, Italian or English and the staff just reply in what ever language they are addressed in. Clever and handy. We went there twice in the 7 days we were in town.

    The Joy of Chocolate!
A fun time with friends! We had so much fun learning about the properties of chocolate and then using our creative side to design our very own bars from scratch. Great group activity!

    a definite must see:)
We went to the chocolate workshop with my family and it was awesome - you learn so much, you have a lot of fun and you create your own chocolate. Also you eat as much as you want during the workshop and the chocolate there is amazing:)) A definite must see! And Chris, who lead the workshop, was so nice and friendly. I really recommend the experience, it is an amazing way to taste Switzerland:)

    Strawberries + chocolate = yummy
Delicious strawberries with chocolate (8.90 CHF) and iced chocolate drink (7.90 CHF) . Popular chocolate shop that has lots of indoor seating. Very delicious. Good resting place between your Interlaken activities. Has a bathroom. Portions are small. Also offers chocolate bar making workshops that require advance reservation.

    No basic customer service skills
The workshop has a strict late policy. We had multiple train delays and unfortunately we would not make it at 6 pm. I messaged them and though their policy is clear what was made also apparent is they lack empathy. The person messaging on whatsapp said the other 6 people made it on time rather than understanding that travel delays are not always in our hands especially when we don't control train delays. The situation could have been handled in a more courteous manner especially since no concessions were offered or any form of refund. Here is a tip - next time say this: "Travel delays can be challenging. Unfortunately we might not be able to fit you in if you come after xyz time but we can offer you a visit to our shop if you want to try our chocolates and if there any other openings or cancellations we can reach out to you. Let us know what dates you are here." The above at least sounds like your empathetic. I want to share my bad experience so other families traveling will know that if things go wrong during your travels this company will not show any kindness but blame you for your train delays.

    Tasty chicken
As I write this I haven’t even left. We had the chicken wings and fries. These were the BEST chicken wings I think I have ever eaten. The staff were friendly. Would recommend everyone to come here… and I think I’ll be back for I leave to try some of the sweets

    Twice Canceled Class
My two daughters and I signed up for a Friday evening class. When we showed up for our class we were told that they would not run the class for less than four people. We were told we could return the next day at noon and the manager said she would keep three spots open for us. Upon returning an hour early to confirm the class, we were told there were no longer spots for us! Beyond the disappointment of missing the experience, we wasted a good deal of time coming, and going. While the manager said she will credit my account, there was nothing additional offered to compensate us for the inconvenience. Book with caution.

    Fun for all ages
Our family of 5 (kids are 9, 11 and 13) took the chocolate making class with Carolina. We all had a great time sampling cocoa beans and 6 different types of chocolate. We then got to make our own chocolate bars, which turned out great. Carolina gave us some great decorating tips!

Caroline was fantastic! Very friendly and a great teacher. They were kind enough to squeeze us 2 in when there was only enough space for 1 more. The chocolate was phenomenal 🤤

    Pricey for a family
Great fun! Good information given and a lovely activity but VERY EXPENSIVE! Cost around £200 for a family of four. That works out at about £17 per chocolate bar that we each made!
