Explore the delights of Spiez on a village tour with the Little Spiez Train

Climb aboard to enjoy a beautiful view of Spiez Castle and the bay on this round trip. This legendary little train runs between the train station and Spiez Bay from Easter to October. Gastronomic rides are available on specific dates. The options are endless.

From Sunday to Friday between April and October, the little train travels from Spiez train station on a round trip of Spiez Bay. This popular blue train on wheels takes you on a fun ride through the town centre, past historic buildings to the jetty. Listen to key facts about Spiez in German and English over the loudspeaker, and hop on or off along the way, perhaps for a cooling dip in Spiez lido: the refreshing water of deep blue Lake Thun offers a welcome relief on hot summer days. Buy the "Pool-Little Train” option when you board the train to include entrance to the outdoor pool. Play a game of miniature golf or pétanque and treat yourself to some culinary delights in one of the restaurants, and kids will love the large playground next to the playing fields. After an action-packed day in the bay, ride the Little Train across Spiez vineyard and back to the train station.

As well as its regular service, the Little Train has other attractive offers for you to enjoy. Discover the gastronomic delights that Spiez has to offer on board the “Culinary Little Train”. Or maybe you'd like to know more about the history and culture of the highest wine-growing region north of the Alps? Join a Spiez wine expert and learn about this fascinating subject as the Little Train takes you on a journey through the vineyards, with an obligatory stop at a wine cellar.
