Elsighorn Trail - Elsigenalp (signposted)

Snowshoers will find two differently difficult, continuously signposted snowshoe trails on the Elsigenalp. Both snowshoe trails lead from the aerial cableway first via Undere Elsige towards Elsigseeli. After a first ascent, there is a magnificent view of the center of Elsigenalp with its ski facilities. After a slight climb, you reach Obere Elsige with the Elsig hut, the turning point of the easier Elsige trail. The more strenuous route to Elsighorn now continues ascending along the ski slope and later somewhat flatter over to Homatti. The last ascent is steep and extends all the way to Elsighorn. Once at the top, you are rewarded with a great view. The return to the aerial cableway is on the same route in both cases.
