- Start: Mountain station aerial cableway Engstligenalp
- Destination: Mountain station aerial cableway Engstligenalp
Skiers know the Engstligenalp as a snow-sure ski resort that still offers top conditions well into spring. However, snowshoeing is also very good on the Engstligenalp near Adelboden. With the Engstligenalp Trail, an easy, continuously signposted route is available. The trail starts directly at the mountain station of the aerial cableway and initially leads slightly downhill to the Läger. Past the snow-covered alpine huts, the route leads across the immense plain of the Engstligenalp. In a wide arc, the route crosses the snow-covered gravel delta of the Wildstrubel. Depending on the snow height, you can orient yourself here on the Grosse Lägerstei, the largest boulder that once rolled down from the Wildstrubel. The return path leads back to the snow-covered huts of the Läger and returns via the outward route to the aerial cableway. Here you also pass the two restaurants located on the route with their wonderful sun terraces.
