From Lägerstutz it goes uphill, with a steep section through the forest at the top, then across a flat slope to Winterröscht. From there, the path leads over Läger down to Färrichegg. Between Färrichegg and Lägerstutz, the observation path runs on the paved road. This path passes through extremely beautiful and rich moor areas.

Drive by car from Lucerne via the Brünig Pass or from Bern via the highway and the main road via Thun-Spiez to Interlaken. You reach the junction to Habkern via Unterseen.
At the intersection in the village center of Habkern (bank, post office, shopping facilities) drive straight ahead towards Schwendi. The distance from Habkern village to Lombachalp is 6 km. Parking from Schwendi/Tschieme is subject to a fee. There are two parking fee machines available:
- Habkern center/village fountain
- Lombachalp/Lägerstutz parking lot
Alternative: Use the parking options in the village center or at the swimming pool, both in close proximity to bus stops, and use the Bus alpin (shuttle bus) to Lombachalp.
Whenever possible, please use public transportation. From Interlaken West, take the post bus to Habkern, from Habkern take the shuttle bus (Bus alpin) to Lombachalp. Bus alpin timetable: www.habkern.ch/busalpin
