Snow sports report Adelboden

From Adelboden village center, Unter dem Birg can be reached by bus or on foot via Boden, along the Engstlige. From there, winter hikers conveniently reach the Engstligenalp at 2000 m above sea level by cable car. The well-maintained, mostly flat winter hiking trail leads past heavily snow-covered alpine huts to magnificent viewpoints. Only the snow crunches under the shoes; otherwise, there is absolute silence. After the sporting activity, head for punch or a fine uskaffee in one of the two mountain guesthouses on the Engstligenalp.
