The winter hiking trail starts directly at the Lägerstutz car park. The prepared winter hiking trail leads you about 1.5 km through the unique landscape of the Lombachalp and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and snowy surroundings. Along the way, you can rest on the bench by the alpine hut and warm yourself in the sun. At the end, the trail forms a small loop and leads back to the starting point along the same route. Treat yourself to a delicacy at the Jägerstübli restaurant after the walk.

Drive by car from Lucerne via the Brünig Pass or from Bern via the motorway and the main road via Thun-Spiez to Interlaken. From Unterseen you reach the junction Habkern/Beatenberg, where you turn right towards Habkern.
At the intersection in the village center of Habkern (bank, post office, shops) continue straight towards Schwendi. The distance from Habkern village to Lombachalp is 6 km. Parking from Schwendi/Tschieme is subject to a fee (coin-operated!). In winter, all-wheel drive or carrying snow chains is recommended.
Take the train to Interlaken West, where you change to PostBus No. 106 and travel to Habkern (stop Post or Zäundli). From Habkern, the alpine bus operates during the winter season. The timetable is at www.habkern.ch/busalpin
