The Axalp lies at an altitude of around 1535 meters above sea level and can be easily reached by PostBus or private car in 35 minutes from Brienz. This charming winter sports resort has everything you need for your family excursion or winter holiday. In addition to attractive ski slopes, it also offers a beautifully prepared sledging run through idyllic countryside. Be inspired by the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz. A chairlift takes you up to Windegg, then a 3 km sledging run takes you to Dotzweg via Chruttmettli. It’s worth interrupting your descent with a stopover at Restaurant Hilten to fortify yourself with a delicious Swiss rösti.

The Diemtigtal Nature Park has sledging offers to appeal to all ages.
