Rothorn Bistro, Brienz

An amazing fish and chips and fries. Got the single portion and shared with family of 5 before going to the Gorge via train. The fish was perfectly cooked and the fries seasoned amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food served very quickly too. Thank you for some wonderful food.

I recently visited Bistro Rothorn and ordered the chicken schnitzel. Unfortunately, the chicken was undercooked and visibly raw on the inside. I pointed this out to the staff, and they offered to make a new one — which I appreciated. However, when they brought the replacement, they asked me if it looked properly cooked. Honestly, I found this quite unprofessional. It's the kitchen’s and staff's responsibility to ensure the food they serve is safe and properly prepared. As a guest, I shouldn't have to quality-check my own meal. This experience really affected my impression of the place. Proper food safety and service standards should be taken more seriously.

The swiss burger was really really tasty and the fries as well! Probabely the best fries ive ever had in a bistro... The staff way very friendly and its good value for money. The only drawback is that it is located near the street so it might be a bit noisy...

Very good and quite restaurant just opposite the train station in Brienz.. Food was good with nice taste.. Burgers been tasty .. Staff are so friendly and kind.. Prices are reasonable
