Easy circular route for snowshoe beginners in Aeschiried

From the PostBus terminus Aeschiried Schulhaus, the route leads northeast past the ski lift parking lot to Windegg, where it turns sharply left and runs parallel to the winter hiking trail for a bit. As it continues downhill across the open terrain, a wonderful view of Lake Thun opens up. Under the training ski lift, the route ascends slightly to the right and continues in a large left curve down to above Ebenengässli. It then goes west to the first houses of the Tannenmattli neighborhood. Turning left, the route runs parallel to the winter hiking trail towards Aeschiried. Below the Chemihütte restaurant, you ascend between two houses onto the fairly flat and open field. Passing a chapel on the left, you ascend gently to the Aeschiried schoolhouse and then back to the starting point.
