Scenic high-altitude hike at the foot of the Titlis and the Gadmerflue. The deep view over the Gadmen Valley is enchanting, as are the views into the Trift Valley and Susten area. A hike on this route before mid-July is to be avoided due to snowfields in the stream beds. Mountain hiking trail, almost exclusively natural path.

From the Feldmoos post bus stop (note: only two post bus services per day) on the Sustenpass road, a forest track initially leads straight through the forest. After about 200 m, a narrow path branches off to the right, leading with a gentle ascent to Alp Gschletter. From here, there is an impressive view of the Wenden basin, which is closed off in the northeast by the Titlis. From Gschletter, the path descends on a narrow, partly pathless trail into the valley floor, where below Wendenalp the Wendenwater is crossed on a footbridge. At the huts of Wendenalp, the route leaves the track again and ascends gently, partly pathless.
The probably most beautiful section of this hike begins: the high-altitude trail leads with pleasant ups and downs at the foot of the Gadmerflue first to Mettlenberg, then to Raflue and from there, ascending a little more, to the Tällihütte. Again and again, enchanting deep views of the Gadmen Valley are offered. Also worthwhile is the view back to the Susten area and into the Trift Valley on the opposite side of the valley.
From the Tällihütte it initially descends gently to Birchlaui, then via a steep path over the meadows and through the forest, and finally again on a gently descending forest path to Nessental.
