- activeboomeradvDecember 1, 2019 at 12:43 PMSurprisingly goodThe restaurant is a tourist destination with a complementary folklore show. We usually steer clear of such touristy shows. In our experience, the shows are a little tacky and the food is usually mediocre. But based on our hotel’s recommendation and a look at the menu, we threw caution to the wind and were pleasantly surprised. The limited menu highlighted traditional Swiss food. We ordered a cheese fondue (with fries, cornichons and pearl onions) and a meat fondue which included a combination of beef, pork and chicken (in oil with cornichons, baby corn and lychee). Surprisingly, the food was good and the pricing was reasonable. As we seemed to be the only dinners that were not part of a group, we were seated at the back of the restaurant. Still, we had a good view of the participative entertainment (a band, singing, and the playing of alphorns, spoons, bells and so forth) and enjoyed the evening.More
- AgnesHTaySeptember 26, 2019 at 6:06 AMDelightful Dinner ExperienceI am unable to tolerate cheese, but the cheese fondue dinner was part of a tour package. The restaurant kindly provided a tasty salad for me while the others tucked into their cheese fondue. The generous portions of meat for the meat fondue were wasted on me as I do not enjoy meat, especially when fried in oil! But the folk music entertainment was excellent, and was much better than one I had seen at another restaurant on an earlier trip. Overall, a very pleasant evening,More
- roqayahtSeptember 4, 2019 at 7:34 AMGreat Staff, beautiful view of park/mountainsThis is probably right next to your hotel if you're staying at Grand Hotel. The place is really nice, I was greeted by an extremely friendly Egyptian waiter who constantly asked about how the food was, and how he could improve the service. They're fast, and the view is just beautiful.More
- Tyne18August 20, 2019 at 7:18 PMAmazing Swiss Cultural EveningThank you for making our last evening in Switzerland so memorable. We made a reservation in advance as unsure how busy it would get. The staff were fantastic and made sure we had a good view of the stage for my mother who has only a little sight. The performers were excellent and really got the audience involved in the show. It was interesting to learn about Switzerland as Maya, one of the performers informed the audience about the music before it was played. A big thanks to Fritz too for making the little ones night by giving her a cuckoo whistle. Thank you also to the waitresses for arranging chicken nuggets and chips for the little one. We had fondue and also chocolate fondue. Both were lovely and we left feeling really full. Would definitely recommend this this restaurant/folklore show and would definitely come again if we come back to Interlaken. Thankyou once again to the performers and staff.More
- KevinL7068June 7, 2019 at 4:37 PMConfusedI’m really confused right now because when I tried to ask for the check the servers saw me but they just ignored me? What do I do? The performances were great and the food was good but the service could definitely be better. Still not sure what to do now because they’re not letting me get the check. Thanks for the free food I guess?More

- McFerridMay 6, 2018 at 6:26 PMSeating for 90, no problemOur large group rented the restaurant on a Sunday night. We had traditional Swiss food including beef stew meat with mushrooms and potato cakes. We had a cheese fondue and drinks prior to the main course. Live entertainment on the stage. Decent food and service. Short walk from Victoria Jungfrau hotel. We took photos with Saint Bernards prior to going in!More

- jodaileyJune 21, 2017 at 6:48 PMKitsch is the attraction here.Come here for the kitsch. The show is fun. The food was just ok. Beverage offerings were generic -- just "beer" or "red wine" or "white wine." There was very large tour group which is probably the norm for this place.More
- AMRHolidayJune 12, 2017 at 1:26 PMMemoriable eveningAn excellent located restaurant with a traditional theme and a Swiss menu, excellent Folk Music and Dances, not to miss the Fondue. Well located and equipped for Theme evenings and MICE events.More
- YLBurgessJune 12, 2017 at 8:37 AMMixed reviews...mostly goodNot what we thought or expected. Should have read the reviews more closely. My in-laws were visiting from the States to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Had never been to Europe before. Wanted a fun experience for them. This started out really rough but ended up ok. Bad... This place is really for groups. Individuals, what they call a la carte customers, have limited menu and seating options. Very expensive. Food so so. Granted the only fondue place I've ever been to is the Melting Pot. This place doesn't even come close. Good... Service once we got everything figured out. Kind waitress. Performance was so fun. Band/group found out it was my in-laws anniversary and invited them on stage for a dance. Overall we had a lot of fun. My in-laws will never forget it. Good portion sizes.More
- TravelinJoe55June 3, 2017 at 2:20 AMBest 'real' fondueBeen here once before. It's Switzerland so you have an obligation to clog your arteries with fondue and this is the best place in Interlaken to do so. Small and somewhat eclectic but like I said, I came for the fondue and I left a happy camper. Super friendly staff.More
- annapaul2014October 24, 2016 at 10:28 AMLovely place.....Great place to have your dinner with the folklore show. Must visit. The menu was very local and offered good choices for the region. Very good evening entertainment of local folklore. Very engaging musicians.....More
- juliefX1809UTJuly 24, 2016 at 5:24 PMDinnerMy husband and I couldn't decide where to go for dinner tonight and chose Spycher. The place was lovely, not stuffy as some of the other restaurants had their doors closed and were lacking ventilation. Good background music, too. Price was reasonable, and friendly service.More
- hanhsiangw2018June 6, 2016 at 3:04 AMLovely placeWe celebrated our honeymoon on the stage with the group of performers who are very lovely indeed. We enjoyed ourselves that night. Well done and keep it up!More
- lezleew2014April 30, 2016 at 4:06 PMOne of the worst meals everRushed her on the advice of our hotel concierge who said they served the best fondue in town and great live entertainment. Let me start off by saying cheese is possibly my FAVORITE food group. After my meal here, I may be ruined to cheese forever. I've never had fondue before...I took one bite and choked it down, only because it would have been socially unacceptable to spit it out. The schnitzel was the worst I've ever had. The entertainment was quite good and we enjoyed all the unusual instruments they played. My wine was quite good and very cold. Sadly, I cannot recommend it.More
- T3958MNchriswApril 29, 2016 at 6:10 PMTotal tourist trapAte here on the recommendation of our hotel instead of researching trip advisor. They were dropping Buss loads of tourists which should have clued us in. I will say the entertainment was good. Traditional Swiss folk music. The food not so much. My wife and I shared a fondue and a pork schnitzel. This was our first fondue and it wasn't really our thing so I won't hold that against them. The schnitzel was below average for what I expected. I'd recommend passing this place by.More
- 472josephlNovember 28, 2015 at 8:03 AMGreat entertainmentIt's good experience of traditional Swiss. My first time to see this kind of instruments show. They are all so friendly!More
- ANTONYREVIEWSAugust 14, 2015 at 10:38 AMReal Swiss ExperienceIts a stunning atmosphere, when we entered. Musicians where awesome playing some completely new instruments which we have not seen before. While you enjoy the show, you get the oppurtunity to be part of the show. If you're a cheese lover, then this is the place. Food is Cheese and Cheese is food. Loved it to the core.More
