The entire trip from Interlaken to Thun takes around two hours and 10 minutes.

The sunset trips run daily from May to October. The boat departs from Interlaken West station at 6:10 p.m. and arrives in Thun two hours later. During the trip, you can enjoy one of the colourful sunsets over Lake Thun and enjoy a delicious three-course “sunset menu” from the galley along the way. What better way of rounding off an eventful day than an evening cruise? From May to September, the popular “Blümlisalp” steamboat offers evening trips departing from Thun. Twice a day during the summer months as well as between Christmas and New Year, the Blümlisalp chugs its way around Lake Thun.
